Example: Name Your Fee Training
Training classes often have unused seats, creating an opportunity to offer additional enrollment at reduced rates. Many training providers, however, are hesitant to publicly advertise deep discounts after other participants have paid full price.
Our “Name Your Fee” program was created to addresses this challenge by allowing buyers and training providers to remain anonymous until a bid is accepted. Full course descriptions are available to participants, but the provider’s identity is revealed only after a mutually acceptable price is agreed upon. This approach helps providers fill open seats without publicly lowering list prices, while giving buyers more flexibility on cost.
Through this program, professionals and organizations can submit anonymous bids for expert-led ISO training courses, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, and others. If a bid is accepted, participants gain access to the training they need at a price they determine, aligning value expectations on both sides.

Users can submit a one-time, anonymous bid for the class fee. The regular fee will be listed, but users can set their own prices.

The user’s bid will be instantly accepted or rejected. If accepted, they will proceed to purchase the class. The class provider will be revealed to them prior to their paying for the class.

If their bid is rejected, they will be prevented from bidding for a specified period (typically 3-7 days). We’re not doing this to punish anyone, but if people could keep submitting low to high bids, it would take days or weeks to reach an acceptable fee for both class provider and student.

We may try to contact the class provider to ask them if they will reconsider your rejected bid. This can happen in either during the live bidding process or within a few hours/days later. The user will be asked for their email address and will get a notice if they are interested in accepting your initially rejected bid.
This tool was offered 100% risk-free to users, allowing potential training students an easy way to shop for competitive pricing on standards-based training courses.
